Training of Trainers

Generation Saviour Association (GSA) with the support of World Health Organisation (WHO) conducted a one-day Workshop on 3 December 2024 at Hyatt Centric, Chandigarh. The event trained trainers using the GenNext – Exit NCDs Intervention Tool for preventing NCD risk factors among school students.

The workshop had 44 participants including teachers, counsellors, and staff from 18 tricity schools.

Resource persons included Dr. Sandeep Gill, Ms. Seema Gupta Mittal, Mr. Harpreet Singh, Ms. Neeru Bali, Dr. Rakesh Gupta, Dr. Sonu Goel, Dr. Nitika, Adv. Gurpreet Bhatti, and Ms. Opinder Preet Kaur. They shared their experiences and encouraged schools to adopt activities from the WHO's toolkit for NCD control and management.
